Swiss Smart City Survey 2022
Martin Flügel, Director of the Swiss association of cities
The Swiss Smart City Survey was carried out for the first time in 2020 by the Zurich University of Applied Sciences ZAHW and with the Swiss association of cities, as one of several partners, and repeated again in 2022. Between 80 to 90 cities took part. The survey summarises various indicators regarding the status of development, but also outlines the most important driving forces and needs of the cities on their way to becoming smart cities. Thanks to the second study, it’s easy to see where the biggest advancements were made and where big obstacles still exist.
